Crepigill Cottage is possibly the prettiest little traditional cottage on Skye. This 200 year old former smithy has been refurbished to a high standard to provide 4 roomed one storey accommodation for 2 people. Although small it retains its essential beauty and character and is very comfortable and fully equipped to make your stay extra special. There are fantastic panoramic views towards the ‘soft’ side of The Storr, Ben Tianavaig above Portree and, further away, the Black Cuillin. On a clear night, with minimal light pollution, there are expansive views of sunsets and the night sky. Located about 5 miles (8 kilometres) north of Portree, the island’s capital, the cottage is ideally located for touring the magical island of Skye.
This detached cottage stands in its own fenced garden which is surrounded by common grazing land and colourful hay meadows. Guests have described the cottage as a "petit bijou", "idyllic cottage", "wonderfully cosy and comfortable", "the perfect place to unwind and relax", "we couldn’t believe how lovely it was"; and "we loved this charming little cottage".
'Magical' is the word we always use to describe Eilean a'Cheo, the Misty Isle of Skye. Renowned for varied and fantastic scenery, unique dramatic landscapes, weird and wonderful rock formations, colourful hay meadows, history, romance, culture and heritage, both the Isle of Skye and Crepigill Cottage also offer peace and tranquillity and the opportunity for you to rest and relax. Your stay can be quite special here.
